Nepafenac is available to us in a form of medical solution which must be used directly in the eye as per your doctor's prescription. It is usually used 3 times a day daily starting from one day before surgery. The dosage and length of treatment is based on your eye condition and its response to the treatment. Tilt your head back and drop the solution by pulling your eyelid down to make a pouch. If using a contact lens, wait for at least 15 minutes after dropping the medicine in the eye. You must close your eyes for at least 1-2 minute after dropping the solution. Do not touch the dropper or let it touch any surface to avoid contamination. You may replace the dropper cap after each use rather than washing it. Put a gap of at least 15 minutes if you are using any other eye solution for the same or different reason. Try not to blink or rub your eye. Take the medicine at the same time daily to get the most benefits from it. Follow the medical guide carefully and consult your doctor in case of any confusion or doubts.
